- Programme Guide: Full details and application criteria are available in the official Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2026, available in all EU languages.
- Application Process: Most individuals (students, teachers, etc.) do not apply directly for funding. Instead, they participate through eligible organisations such as universities, schools, VET centres, NGOs, and youth groups, which apply for the grants.
- Where to Apply:
- Applications for most actions should be submitted to the National Agencies in each EU or associated country.
- Certain actions, like Jean Monnet activities and large cooperation partnerships, are managed centrally by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
- All opportunities and application forms are available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
- New for 2026: The programme introduces a new action called “European Partnerships for School Development” to foster cooperation between schools and authorities to test innovative teaching methods.
- Learning Mobility: Opportunities for students to study or do a traineeship abroad, as well as exchanges and training for school pupils, youth workers, and staff in various sectors.
- Cooperation Projects: Funding for partnerships among organisations to develop and transfer innovative practices and share experiences at a European level.
- Jean Monnet Activities: Increased opportunities for teaching, learning, and debating EU topics in educational institutions.
