This comprehensive, hybrid (online and personal presence) coaching and training course is designed to equip participants with the expertise required to effectively coordinate Erasmus+ and Erasmus Centralized projects across various scales and durations, including:

  • Erasmus Small-Scale Projects (€30,000–€60,000, 1 year)
  • Erasmus KA2 Projects (€120,000-250,000–€400,000, 2 years)
  • Erasmus Pact of Skills Projects (up to €1.2M, 3 years)
  • Erasmus Alliances for Innovation (up to €1.5M, 3 years)
  • Erasmus Excellence Centers (up to €4M, 4 years)

Program Overview:
Built on extensive practical experience, this training adopts a 100% practice-driven approach to address the intricacies of managing EU-funded projects. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of EU funding instruments, project design, and management through hands-on exercises, bilateral consulting sessions, and expert-led guidance.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Access to finance and available funding opportunities under Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe.
  • Understanding business opportunities for education, digitalization, green projects, and circular economy initiatives.
  • Navigating the project lifecycle, from proposal development to implementation and final reporting.

Course Components:

  • Intensive one-day training sessions.
  • Bilateral consulting: 40 hours of proposal development (10 weeks, 4 h per week).
  • Training Handbook for those who will be present in Istanbul.

General Agenda Topics:

  1. Defining applicant entities, documentation, capacity assessments, and team development.
  2. Brainstorming and designing project ideas.
  3. Creating tailored EU funding plans and identifying available calls.
  4. Early-stage proposal preparation and partner search.
  5. Building effective consortia and managing partnerships.
  6. Writing successful Erasmus+ proposals with group-specific guidance.
  7. Conducting proposal “surgeries” to refine applications.
  8. Task and workload distribution among project teams.
  9. Crafting project management, scientific, and impact sections.
  10. Budget development and allocation.

Key Skills Developed:
Participants will master the EU Project and Grants preparation process, the roles and responsibilities of EU Funding Managers, Project Designers, and Coordinators, including:

  • Project Design, Project Structuring and Project Writing;
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Managing diverse project aspects such as open science, ethics, gender equality, and data management.
  • Creating a comprehensive project handbook for effective communication and oversight.
